Building Trust Through Action: Our Visit to Vumabesala Secondary School

5/23/20252 min read

At Moripe College, we believe education is not just what happens inside a classroom — it’s built on trust, relationships, and community support. That’s why we don’t just wait for students to find us — we go to them, and more importantly, we meet their parents too.

Recently, we had the privilege of visiting Vumabesala Secondary School, and what a warm, inspiring experience it was! We were welcomed by learners and, most importantly, dedicated parents who took the time to listen, ask questions, and engage with our team.

Real Conversations With Real People

Our visit wasn’t about handing out flyers — it was about having real conversations. We introduced our academic programs and listened closely to the needs and concerns of parents in the community.

We shared details about:

Matric Re-write – For those who need a second chance or want to improve their marks

Grade 10–12 Tutoring – Focused academic support for key subjects

Adult Education & Training (AET) – Empowering adults to complete their basic education

Short Skills Courses – Practical training for career opportunities

End User Computing- Learning the use of computers and software

A Promise to Keep Showing Up

Our visit to Vumabesala wasn’t a one-time event. It was a commitment. A promise that we’ll keep showing up — in your schools, your homes, and your communities.

We are here to support, guide, and walk this journey with you — every step of the way.

“Thank you to the parents of Vumabesala for welcoming us with open arms. Your questions, feedback, and hope for your children's future truly inspired us. We’re excited to build this partnership with you.” – Moripe College Team
